survivers guilt hits deep even if you haven't been to war but save lives in general my dad 68 he used to be fire captain for 25 years he hears children crying and gets remembered of the victims he couldn't save and even though he retired you best believe his old ass is running in with no gear shoot he's the blocks EMT when 911 takes their sweet time and he Also did that $uicidal help to stop folks from taking themselves out

Semper Fi brother. unfortunately to many of us have had to go through this exact situation, but the majority of the world will never know what that puts on a person. they will never be able to see the world through our eyes, but I still thank God for that because I would never want my kids to have to and everyone else
