Depends on if they’re paid weekly, or bi weekly. 1400/week after taxes isn’t bad, considering free meals, housing, medical benefits, pension, and va loans. Not bad at all. You retire young with the skill set to start a civilian career while getting your pension. Thank you for your service.

Why did it take you 9 years to be an E-4? If you you did 9 years in the Army she should be at least an E-6. Cross decking to the MC they would have only dropped her one rank. I would as how many times has she been pregnant in the Army
To the "naysayers" ... the military provides free dental and medical in addition to the paycheck.
So she can’t get promoted, thats why the Marine corps picked here up, all about man power numbers
Alot of military families need to participate in food banks. Military people have alot of benefits when they leave, but they don't all eat well without help with food.

you have to figure they take housing out of your check. so there's another 2500 bucks that could be making.
thats not to bad considering you live in Military Housing for free, atleast thats how it was back in the day. But im sure she also meant biweekly
enlisted yes. but, they didn't mention all the rest that comes with family, housing if applicable. so basically go officer or do a 2 year enlistment to get the gi bill money and home loan. plus any training you can use outside back in the real world.

Anybody in the army Marines Navy Air Force should be making like $1400 a week if not more cause they put their life on the line just like police officers for this country but military deserves more cops too many corrupt ones to pay the good ones a high price soerror for that lies corrupt cops shouldn’t get paid shit

She would be a SSG/SFC with 10yrs in the US Army, Warrant Officer or Officer making alot more than in the Marines. Something isn't Right with this picture. E4 with 9 years is Crazy!!!
