OH MY GOD!!! I CRIED WHEN I WATCHED YOU DISARM EVERYONE OVER A YEAR AGO. AS A KID, MY MOTHER'S HALF BROTHER LAID ME DOWN AND WISPERED THE ALMOST EXACT SENTENCE ABOUT ME TELLING ANYONE. YOU BECAME MY PRETEND HERO IN MY HEAD, PRETENDING YOU'D COME AND TAKE ME AWAY FROM WHAT HE HAD DONE AND CONTINUED TO DO, FROM 7 til 12 years old. My brain could only lock it down and go on as if nothing was wrong. By my 9th birthday, I was used to it, and by 11 years old, I was actually looking forward to these nightmares I never could remember after 30 minutes from arriving Thank you for helping me find closure that I kept open for far too long.You are my hero, my therapist, and my inspiration all in one!! I never heard this guy talk. He is a badass.
When I was 5 yrs old I used to cut myself so hard and deep because I wanted to be able to take pain of abuse from my mother and not cry to prove to her she couldn't hurt me anymore. The last time that woman broke my nose I was ten yrs old. Blood everywhere. I laughed at her. She hit me again. I made jokes. She beat the fuck out of me. I snapped. I broke everything in the house, threw a chair out the front window, and dared her to call the cops. I left at 16 and made a point to visit one last time 30 yrs later, to spit on her grave. It ain't easy growing up a Military BRAT. It's tough on the whole family.

This is one of the extreme instances but I remember some bad times too. I felt your strength and grit that got you through it. I also have that fear, strength and grit. Thank God you walked away from that situation.

My pops could take his 45 out and cocktail it on his holster and put it between your hands before you could clap them together. That's fast. I have pics of him practicing his quick drawing in the fourties as a teen. And he was still practicing when he died.

I was kidnapped at gun point, I managed to grab the gun We wrestled for it. and started pulling the trigger. I figured I’d either empty the clip or take the gun. I took the gun with one bullet left. That’s all I needed.
Such a sad story, kudos to him! Too many of us things should’ve never happened! Strength and determination are often the result fear we once faced that is should’ve never control us again!!!
why are step dad's always mean?..if you step into a family treat everyone equally not different. you have to be understanding to the other child too.
