Those who didn’t follow. The Japanese prisoner had a picture of himself (the Japanese soldier) and his friends decapitating innocent Chinese citizens in front of the Great Wall of China. It’s a famous story now. The Japanese soldiers were laughing about the people the had in custody and one mentioned that he wasn’t sure if his sword was sharp. So he decapitated a random Chinese person, the others then followed. That soldier deserved what he got, in spite of Mr Filipek taking him out.
I worked with a few ww 2 vets in the 80s. I heard some stories. Especially the guys who invaded Berlin.
The guys a hero. He fought for our freedom we enjoy today. May he rest in peace
