Yes, America sends children to war. I was 19 when the ship I was stationed on got called to Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
The drinking age was 18 until the 80s. Jessie Ventura showed have just stayed in show biz
All active duty personnel should be able to drink in a bar in America at any age if you can die for this country, you should be able to drink with it
My gosh, this is so true. My brother went into the military and Vietnam at 17 years old. He came back very very different severe PTSD and they said he also had supposedly we didn’t have swollen hands all that kind of stuff the government for your service anything nothing Vietnam was such a mistake. Send these kids 17 years old over there thinking they’re gonna take on the world and they come home with worlds, smashing the life that they could’ve had a good life. He was afraid the rest of his life of any noises anything. Bad dreams
drinking age back then was 18 didn't change to 21 until late 80' early 90's
Anyone that joins military and fights for aour country should be able to drink!!!!
So we do send children to war.
He would’ve been 19 in 1970. Drinking age was 18 in California, where UDT 12 was stationed at the time. I wonder why he would embellish that🤔
speak the truth a soldier can die at 18 but can't buy a beer or a cigarette
He is a liar
Wasn't he the governor of Minnesota in the late 90s?
you're not no seal in a year
The legal drinking age in the United States was raised to 21 with the passage of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act in 1984, and all states complied by 1988. 🤔 Voting age is still 18.🤔
In the military, there are many things hazardous to ones health, so drinking shouldn't matter.
Barry Goldwater stated it very clearly: Old men need to stop creating wars for young men to die in.
First started changing the drinking age in 1984 and the last of states South Dakota and Wyoming by 1988
Drinking age was changed in 1985 from 18 to 21 so Jesse could have had a beer
So drinking a beer makes you a man? Look what lowering the voting age has gotten us; the rainbow coalition who do t even know there are only two genders.
why do they always send the poor
🤔 First of all THANK YOU! If your old enough to join the military, in my book your old enough to drink. Thats prob why we get so many ppl from the military in are Liquor store, because we serve these HEROS, whether its against the law or not. To this day, we have NEVER been confronted by ANYONE that tries to enforce this law. Prob, because most cops agree.
I miss Jesse. One of Minnesotas finest 🤔 He represents the Best of us!!!🤔🙏🏼
we have the best politicians that money can buy!
I agree, if a person is old enough to kill or be killed in our military they should be old enough to drink or smoke if they want too.
Yes, I remember that, I joined the Marines in 1973. I was 18. I turned 21 in marine Corp. came home, drinking age had dropped to 18.
They get sent while they’re young and healthy, before they discover boobs, beer and bongs 😆
in case yall dont know he was a WWF wrestler before it became WWE
I feel it should be beer and wine at 18 hard liquor at 21. In '78 it was legal to drink at 18. Are US Soldiers under 21 allowed to drink on base?
War is wrong. And so is this guy.
He’s a phony!
It all depends on what state you were in back then you were an adult at 16 in New York back then I could drink beer at 16 in Virginia back then my younger brother, who was born two years after me could not when he turn 16 he had to wait till 17 and then he had to wait till 18 and then he had to waittill 21 to carry out if I recall right
Shame on You
Jessie Ventura
is that Jack Lambert of the Pittsburgh Steelers ?
The truth
Children by scientific definition are prepubescent humans so no , we don’t send children to war. Americans refer to adolescent adults as children because the government doesn’t recognize them as adults which they are according to biology.
That's why they say " Don't go to war for something your GOVERNMENT STARTED"
Wasn’t the drinking age 18?
he's got that right 😁
OMG such a liar
give us more...
🤔Thank you for your service!!! your right on all counts and it's not going to change unfortunately!!!🙏🙏
yes because older men are s.arter, they question...why???
thank you for your service sir thank you
Wrong in 69 it was not 21!
he is 💯 on this
💯
