We know why they don't want ID'S in the elections! They'd never win another election! ID'S are necessary for just about everything and they don't complain about that! But when it comes to one of the most important processes in our country, they don't want it! It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out! We already show ID to vote. What they are doing is making it harder for anyone who has changed their name to vote. Mainly married women.

If passports are required or birth certificates, then they should be given at no charge. Otherwise that is just a poll tax. Also voting should be more accessible and a week long to give everyone the opportunity to vote. I’m for security, but also accessible.
