I know exactly where my birth certificate is and listening to an old dinosaur tell us that it shouldn’t be necessary to prove you’re an American citizen should tell everyone everything you need to know. I work construction and had a two week job fall through which forced me to file unemployment here in Oregon. The amount of hoops I had to jump through to prove I am who I say I am to get benefits was insane, these same people are telling us we shouldn’t have to verify who we are to vote is unbelievable!

Why don’t Democrat politicians listen to their constituents? The majority of Americans including Democrat voters want real ID’s and proof of citizenship to ensure voter integrity and secure elections. Why do Democrat politicians insult women and underprivileged people with baseless nonsense? Voter ID is not voter suppression. Married women and the underprivileged are NOT incompetent or incapable of getting real ID’s. I am a senior woman and had absolutely zero trouble obtaining my birth certificate and a marriage license to prove my name change from another state so I could get a real ID to fly. I made two quick phone calls to receive those necessary legal documents. It could not have been any easier and very affordable. I literally use that ID on a daily basis for just about everything like banking, purchasing items, Medicare, doctor visits, buying alcohol, insurance, … If someone is too incompetent to get these documents, then they’re too incompetent to vote.

What exactly is so bad about requiring proof of who you are, where you live and are you a LEGAL resident of this country in order to vote? The people against voter ID want to cheat the system. Nearly all legal citizens have ID. Those that don't can get it without much trouble. Anyone saying otherwise is lying or misinformed.
If they are too poor to buy an ID to vote then you are too poor to fly, drink alcohol, buy a house, buy a car, have a banking account, having an ID is a requirement period.
