Well over 90% of the farmers all vote Republican. They knew they were screwed by Donald Trump by his tariffs in his first term unfortunately they weren’t able to get him back in in 2020 so they could get screwed again. However the farmers rode the red wave to victory in 2025 and now they’re screwed so bad they’re going under. I hope you love the unemployment line farmers.

Beef prices need to be cheaper. I can't afford to pay $36 for two thin rib eyes, or $39 for a chuck roast. I just have to pass by the meat department in Kroger. The other problem is the beef doesn't seem to cook as tender, as it used to. The same ground chuck that was $5.99, a few years ago, is now $8.99. I'm retired. I can't imagine how people are feeding their families.
