I watched the Davos speech and I felt something I never thought I would feel watching a President of the United States speak on the world stage. Shame. Not policy disagreement. Not partisan frustration. Shame. The President of the United States stood in front of the world and insulted our allies. Allies who stood shoulder to shoulder with us after September 11. Allies who sent their sons and daughters to die alongside American soldiers. Allies whose blood is mixed with ours in places like Afghanistan and Iraq. And he dismissed them. He said they did nothing. They did not do nothing. They died.

Am from a military family and am proud of all my family members who fought in WW2, Vietnam, Afghanistan. Many cousins came back with missing limbs and are still suffering. This President is gross. You know who stayed a little way back from the frontlines? Trump did. When his own country expected to do HIS duty he had "bone spurs" that magically went away years later. He does not know what the hell he is talking about. Canadian troops were stationed in the southern Kandahar Province where engagement with the Taliban was common and in heavy combat with 160 killed and thousands injured. Denmark lost 45 in Afghanistan and 8 in Iraq. Britain lost 180 in Iraq and 460 in Afghanistan. Those of us that were deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan worked closely with these countries. His statements are just a disgrace.
