I’m still trying to fight out what the Republicans’ problem are with PBS and NPR. PBS shows Sesame Street, kids’ cartoons, and Dowton Abbey. Occasionally a WWII documentary. The most neutral news out there. NPR is talk radio that’s simultaneously talks about everything and nothing.
If tRUMP wants PBS and NPR to fail, all he needs to do is affiliate them as a part of "tRUMP University".
pBS and NPR took public support donations and contributed to the Democratic Party and none to the Republican Party. Donations are made to support the viewers snd programs NOT political parties. I used to donate till I learned this. It still exists but without federal funds. I totally support this.
I am glad to see people sticking up for NPR/PBS. Two strikes against them with the right wing lunatics. They promote education and creative thought, and they don't exist to drain every penny out of the population. To them, both those things are just plain anti American.
