Americans have to carry their passports in foreign countries. If you're in America and a foreigner, you need to carry your passport.
So a REAL ID isn't good enough? a regular driver's license isn't good enough? Nazi Germany did this! is america following the same path?
we ALL carry ID on us every day and it's required to b on us when operating vehicles and what not, so don't act like this is something new for this country.

Why should American citizens have to carry a birth certificate to go in public. If you are in a business that ICE raids they can demand proof of citizenship now. That is insane. if they are doing this then they should issue national ID s free of charge.The only way a married woman could prove she is a citizen is to carry a visa ,or a birth certificate and marriage license. We use real ID "drivers license " to vote but they won't accept it for proof of citizenship. Do you realize how insane this has become. They have said that not only the person who is being detained but anyone in surronding area could be made to show proof.

Fir a price you could get a driver's license or birth certificate or social security number. All were fake and forged.
