He speaks the truth. When more people are looking for jobs ( looking ) not hired, unemployment rate will go up. That doesnβt mean they were not offered a job. That person may have turned it down. Yes, companies are shuttering which also increases that number. However, too many want to point at the President as the culprit. AI is a big part of that. Companies that were mismanaged for years is a big factor. The President is getting companies to invest in the U.S. Jobs Will follow, but it takes time. Prices will drop now that oil costs are dropping. Again it takes time. Wages are going up. They continue to. Which is why inflation is higher as well. Higher wages = Higher prices. Prices skyrocketed under the last president. They have been sky high for years. Remember who caused that inflationary spike.

That makes no sense, if the unemployment is 4.6, and if there are people that aren't receiving unemployment and not counted in, that would mean more people are not working. Thus , unemployment is over 4.6. If I'm misunderstanding, please explain where I'm wrong.
