Ukraine was corrupt PRIOR to Zelensky being g elected President. The previous Ukrainian president was a Russia sympathizer much like our current President. Zelensky signed a earth minerals deal with Trump. You'd think he'd want to protect that deal, unless Putin has offered him a better deal if Russia takes control of Ukraine.
