Have any of you complaining about SNAP benefits actually noticed the cost of living? Get a job you say? It’s called “the working poor.” SNAP is assistance. You work your butt off and still fall short bc of the cost of EVERYTHING!! Rent is close to $1200 per month where I live for a one bedroom apartment. And for the record: I’m not a Democrat, I’ve never been on SNAP and I’m a home owner.

Let's see.... Emergency spending capped at $75M and to fund SNAP for KY would cost $107M. How much would it actually be if you subtracted all the illegal immigrants receiving SNAP and just funded your American KY citizens? Just curious!
I think it's just a big show and before midnight tomorrow night it will be over and everyone will get November's food stamps. I feel like they are seeing how much they can get by with before someone steps of and says we can't do that to low income families or any family that may need the help from time to time.. . my daughter works in her local hospital emergency surgery center and still needs help from snap so her 2 daughters can have a hot meal so it's not just people that won't work that this will affect. it effects everyone.. get it together congress
Beshear??? Why would he try to get SNAP reinstated? In November of 2023.. yes, 23, Beshear cut food stamps for the elderly with excessive medical issues. I won't explain what he can do with his $23 a month.
