This is bigger than just the recipients… This will affect the economy. Businesses will be at a loss. Their supply will be more than the demand & they’ll essentially take a loss. Truth be told, most businesses are still in business because of the use of SNAP benefits. Shelves will be full & food will expire. Prayers for all who have & will be affected by this shut down. 🫶🏾

I don’t care who gets mad — this needs to be said. While millions of low-income families struggle to feed their kids, the so-called “leader” in office is spending millions building a 90,000-square-foot ballroom in the White House. Families are going hungry, SNAP benefits are delayed, and the government is shut down — all while they dine off silver plates. Thanksgiving is around the corner, and too many children will have no food on the table. Instead of wasting tax dollars on luxury, they should’ve added November benefits along with October benefits — and doubled or tripled SNAP — to help struggling families. This country’s priorities are completely messed up.
Thank God for all that new gold in the oval office and a new ballroom, pretty sure the president could care if you all are eating, as long as he is.

I hate to say this but this administration ain’t playing with people that’s been on government assistance and keep having more kids that they have to rely on the government to feed them it’s time for the baby daddy’s to step and make these women start working too and most elderly and disabled can’t receive help cause they may make a few pennies over to qualify but they go hungry while these women keeps having kids back to back it’s time for the government to stop giving food stamps for these women help with the first child and stop giving them more stamps for all the kids after that first one make them go to work and make the dads of these kids pay child support hold the mother and father accountable point blank period 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

This is not just about snap benefits. How are people going to feed their kids? Don’t say get a job that’s NOT the only answer. What about the single parent who can’t get a job because of the hours they can work, children with special needs, parents who are disabled. Households that have 2 incomes but most of the money goes to rent and utilities. It’s not just lazy people who are using the system. Some genuinely need help

This is crazy. I get minimal Social Security and I don’t know what I am going to do without snap. I think I have $85 left on my card and I’m gonna go by a bunch of chicken thighs and a lot of pasta and sauce and soup. This is crazy.

Idk who needs to hear this BUT there is an over $6B contingency reserve for SNAP and WICC so they aren’t interrupted during shutdowns (like 2017 & 2019), but DJT’s USDA CHOSE to cut SNAP off Nov. 1st. Thank DJT for that.
