When the gov does not enforce immigration laws for decades and allow them to get established enclaves in the US, it will get messy to find them, detain them, and deport them. The foreign tribe will resist. Americans who built a business model based on illegal and cheap labor will resist. Immigrant children born in the US will be caught in the crossfire. At the end of 2024, the US had 13M illegals, 5.8M asylum seekers, and 4.4M refugees. That is 23M or 1 in 14 persons in the US. I am using lower figures for the illegal. ICE pundits think the US has 20M or more illegals. That will make it 30M or 1 in 11 persons in the US. Trump knows for every 750,000 deported, that is one Dem Congressional seat apportioned based on the Census. Trump has caused 1.6M self deport, deported 585,000, and has 415,000 pending. That is 2.6M or 3 Dem seats. No matter the noise, Trump knows he must keep deporting to win the long game.
don't enter and remain in the country illegally, and it isn't an issue. If you are great illegally, pack your bags and make a choice. Leave on your own terms, or leave on their terms. I would suggest making that choice quickly.
