I will be one of those actual Chicago residents that will welcome our men and women in uniform. We have waited for decades to have the "change" that President Barack Obama ran on and have never gotten. Change for most lifelong Chicagoans is being able to walk down the street in my neighborhood without the fear of being robbed, beaten or shot at. It's real and all these nit-wit politicians own a part of it. Look at who has been leading us. Pritzker, Johnson, Durbin, Duckworth, Preckwinkle, Raoul, Garcia, Martwick, LaPointe, Guzzardi, Cruz, Rodriguez-Sanchez, Andre Vasquez, LaSpata, Nugent, Martin, Hadden, Burnett, Ervin, Taylor, etc. they ALL are a WOKE MOB of clowns that need to be stopped.
Anyone (no matter the age) caught with a “switch” should get no bail and mandatory minimum five years.

Ridiculous. I go into downtown Chicago all the time, by train, no issues. I was just there for the day a few weeks ago, and it was lovely. Tourists everywhere, restaurants and bars bustling, Riverwalk was wonderful. My parents still live there, 52 years now, zero issues the entire 52 years.
Chicago isn't even ranked among the Top 15 most dangerous cities.

Won't criminals go into hiding and come out again as soon as the coast is clear? Will federal troops stay in Chicago forever? If so, they will force criminals to go hungry if no regular jobs become available for them. Then, hungry criminals will relocate to the lovelier suburbs and make life impossible for their residents who may have to escape to the safer city. There will be a "resident exchange," but crimes will go on. Since it's too late for birth control for the 🙃 , then places of employment with lots of jobs should become available immediately. Just as adequate homes for the displaced homeless who can no longer pitch their tents in public streets.
