I am really not a fan of this. It was ineffective the last time it was tried and it will be ineffective again. It’s merely delaying the inevitable. The Republicans are the majority party and, as such, they can redistrict whenever they please. To the victor goes the spoils. If the Dems don’t like it then they need to win more elections, starting with recruiting better, more moderate candidates who are NOT the first this or that to win an office, but rather someone who inspires confidence and who the majority of Texans are willing to trust.
