Every state in the United States should have a stand your ground law like Florida has. In some states, a man breaking into your house through the front door you are not allowed to protect yourself or your family, if you shoot him, you can be arrested because the law says you should’ve ran out your back door. What sense does that make to not be able to protect yourself and your family and your pets and your property. Our states should not be divided like this. people work hard for the things they have and they pay taxes for those things that they have, but some states the law tells you to leave all of that behind when somebody tries to take it from you. Run and hide and call 911 and hopefully the police will get there in enough time. We should be allowed to stand up and fight for the people and pets we love and the property we work hard for

This should be our police officers tell us honest citizens, the same thing. For the Blue ( democRAT) states only care about the the safety of criminal instead of allowing us honest citizens to have weapons and to protect ourselves. In blue states the honest citizens if using weapons against criminals, are more likely to be put in prison and sued by the criminal or their family members and get everything we own.

Guns are all over the suburbs now. Quiet, well-mannered people have come to the conclusion they must be prepared to protect themselves. Much of this was prompted by the “Defund the Police” movement espoused by social radicals. Guns are no longer just in urban areas. People are prepared to protect their homes and family. We know that “When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.” In the meantime, we are prepared to sufficiently handle home invasions and car jackings. You don’t see that on the news, but it’s happening. Can I get an Amen?
