White privilege isn't having an advantage it's not being at a disadvantage. Being able to go anywhere and feel safe until you have a reason not to. It's being able to go shopping without being stared at being able to go house shopping without being shown houses in the worse part of town it's being able to listen to the music you like without being judged. As a black man who's always worked in white dominated jobs and I've been called every bad word in dictionary I've found a noose when I was the only black person around I've had people threaten my life because I walked by them to go to my own desk. I don't think white people have it easy by any means but I've definitely been told and shown that because I'm black nobody cares about me

I have the white privilege of needing a higher GPA and test scores to be accepted to university. I have the white privilege of zero grants and scholarships available to me based on nothing but the color of my skin. I have the white privilege of my resume being lower in the pile. I have the white privilege of not being able to say I'm proud of my skin without being called racist. I have the white privilege of no media dedicated to my skin color. I have the white privilege of having to work my ass off every day of my life to barely get by only for the media and society to tell me that I owe something to others have of something I had nothing to do with. Anyone who wants these privileges is welcome to take them. (I admittedly took this from another poster because it is so true).

I was equally screwed as a 5 year old orphan raised through the system until I aged out at 18. We shared rooms in boys homes and we were all different races. I met my Grand Daddy when I was 12, and he took me to south Texas for the summer and we went to Church, but I had to go back to the orphanage. I also served 10 years in the Army and we are a brotherhood. That whole racial division is a civilian thing.
