The jury made their decision and heard all the testimonies with the conclusion he was not guilty. It’s hard when you’re a juror, but you have to listen very carefully on statements and facts that the defendant and prosecutor are saying. It’s a job and a responsibility that the jurors have and it’s not easy.
Be mad at the gunman…..this is misplaced anger. Don’t think for a second these officers aren’t affected by this day.
Disgraceful that the officer did nothing to save innocent children, he should hang his head in shame for the rest of his life.

1 coward out of dozens that refused to man up by stopping the lone untrained shooter. They failed the children and teachers who had to use each other as body shields. Disgusting outcome and outrage is the appropriate response from the survivors.
These families are hurting man. Hurting inside and out. There are no words. But the one officer would have more than likely failed. It took several officers to take down that POS. He was out gunned. Was he afraid, yes probably. Would some of us done differently yes absolutely. The pain these parents are feeling they want retribution but his badge isn’t a cape. This is a tough line to follow either way. What would I have done, well I know me, if my life could have saved just one I would have gladly given it. I’m so sorry for these families.

This man is a coward. He does not deserve to work anywhere around the public. His life needs to be destroyed but he did not do anything to break the law. He didn’t do his job and children died but he was not the only only one there all of those officers that did not not respond respond should lose their jobs and have their lives destruct and never be able to do anything but and a conviction of is not right either?

Pure EVIL showed its face on that horrible, disgusting day in Uvalde, May 24th. Wrote LOL on a blackboard while picking children & teachers off like sitting ducks. Those people were ignored & unassisted by hundreds of police personnel!! This verdict just solidifies the fact that they STILL DONT CARE!!!
I am sympathetic to them no one should have to go through this but this will not bring the children back no amount of punishment for him will.
He didn't do his job. He was in charge and he didn't do his job and while he was doing derelict of duty, children were dying. Families were screaming and crying, wanting to go in because the cops wouldn't go in and the cops held them back and they had to listen to their children scream and be shot. It's horrible just horrible. I don't know what this jury was thinking.

The justice system that put their policies and procedures in place to set back and wait are to blame. Not the officer. Who comes up with such ignorant tactics? That's said if it had been anyone of us and our kids in there officer or not we'd of gone in there immediately we can all agree. This issue is a double edged sword and one of great tragedy. Prayers and blessings to the families won't being back those innocent young lives but we can hope this tragedy is learned from to prevent future occurrences.

You all need to go after TEA and the ESCs of Texas for the security measures as well. They got paid pretty good money for running security and now they have even more money to hire the same type of people who didn’t manage security well. They hire security, firemen and teacher personnel to make decisions and the program is getting watered down again as money is pouring in. An outside consulting group of parents should start looking at TEA and the ESCs.
