For the residents of PA... I spoke w/the nice lady @ State Representative Alec Ryncavage's office yesterday. Although there very well may not be any deposits into SNAP accounts for November, she did confirmed the following for SNAP benefits... -Any remaining balances on SNAP cards WILL be carried over to November. You will NOT lose any funds you currently have on your account. -You WILL be able to use your SNAP card in November. You CAN use any funds you currently have on your account. -If SNAP benefits are haulted during the shutdown, any SNAP benefits not received during that time will be added to your account retroactively when the shutdown ends. This means, if they don't issue the benifits for November but reopen & issue benefits in December, you WILL receive the November AND December deposits. If it lasts until January, you WILL receive the deposits for November, December AND January. *I'm sorry, I didn't think to ask if the same will apply to the WIC or EBT Cash assistance.
Just release the files and let us know WHY they really shut it down 😆

you know what's funny, is that there is no funding for american people who need it but it was all given for free to illegals, but also that there is no funding for these programs that are a necessity for people who are not able to live without them (even when they do work) but yet there is funding for building a new ball room in the white house that costs at least in the millions of not billions. it's like putting rims on a rental car. smh
Between the surplus & "rainy day fund" PA has $11bil Shitpiro can use to help the citizens in his state. They can pay 3mos of SNAP & barely put a dent in that money. But he won't do that because A) He's all for the Dems sticking it to us in order to spite Trump & the Republicans. B) He's busy getting himself out there for his presidential run in 2028. C) He already has that $ figured into the nonexistent state budget to be used towards his & the other Dem's pet projects which will help line their pockets.

so people who are disabled are also affected by this and it's sad it's all sad our own democracts using us as leverage in their politics how dare both parties !! but this is on democracts because they keep fighting for free health care for all I get wanting to help I do I have children but we need to take care of our people here first that been in this country paying taxes being part of the community snd when we fall on hard times we have family to fall back on sometimes not everyone does so this is really a big train wreck and once they reopen it's going to take time to distribute those benefits let's hope they reopen soon an come to an agreement 🙏 wishful thinking
