Aftermath.. we, that are on disability and social security are going to starve.The food banks give out enough food for a couple of days but what's going to happen after that? Both myself and my mother are on disability and we are all we have. I had to sit and watch my mother cry yesterday. Please if anyone has any suggestions let me know. If you can find it in your heart to help us with food my CashApp is $Rain2726. Or if someone can get us food and have it delivered to us.. I have gotten on my page and on our community page and ask for help. Once they found out I had dogs it became a situation where sick minded people could bully us downgrade me and make some very morbid suggestions. I was told to kill my dogs and eat them, I was told that my elderly mother may taste good with ketchup, they told me to go out in the backyard and find grub worms. I am not going to lie, all of the comments and mean things that were being said had me in a very dark mind frame . Please please help us.
I was expecting to see comments blaming the poor, looks like people understand it's the politician's and president who caused this. Before you reply with anger , go watch that video where the President says "we have the money for the programs, and we will give it to the people we think deserve it." He then goes on to say that he'll make sure ICE and the military are funded.
I say both parties are responsible if they really want to show us that they really care about us people out here on the outside of the government they would get the government reopened get things funded before the first of the month but no they won't because they're still getting paid
All because democrats want to give illegal aliens free health care and they want more money going to other countries
If the snap benefits weren't wasted on junk or sold or other things they should be fine. I know many families that get ridiculous amounts of food stamps and still go to food banks. A family of 6 was getting over 1200 a month that is ridiculous even in this economy.

October benefits are already gone for most people. They are spent in full the day they hit the EBT cards and then work on stretching the food purchased until next EBT upload. Now there is no next upload. Maybe congress should consider immediate genocide instead of slowly starving the poor while they (congress & families) stuff themselves.
