You can kill someone with any kind of weapon or material and it all becomes an assault weapon! The gun didn't kill these people, the person using the gun killed the people by using the gun. The person using the gun is the assault weapon no matter if he used a gun or other object!
Even though these shootings are becoming more and more to the point where some may no longer pay attention to them, except if they involve children, it is so sad that an individual commits suicide or have their life taken by having a shoot out with law enforcement. It's sickening that they decide to kill others, especially those who have nothing to do with their issues. All we can do is to go on with your life and try to be more aware of one's surroundings.
