People from the suburbs will always be afraid to go to cities. It really does not relate to the safety status of cities. The fear of cities will always be there, regardless of whether crime is lower. The National guard will not affect most crime in the city that takes place in many different neighborhoods that they cannot possibly be covering.

All that bringing these guards in will do is give the Trump administration more power and leverage to take over the country State by State. The guards are not equipped in law enforcement. Maybe if the administration would do some constructive investigation on what's really going on in these Cities and the Trump administration stop listening to Steven Miller the problems could be resolved. Why don't they get all those weapons off the streets and stop giving people so much access to them.

parts of Cleveland need integrated peace keeping. occasional outsiders come to parts of the city downtown special events holidays and extra police are helpful. neighborhoods that border redlines also need to be sure as shoppers commuters deliveries can be safely executed. our tragic shooting in the flats proves neighborhood watches must remain a 24-7 endeavor and done regularly at peak crime/ violence times
