This is a horrible act and has devasted the family of a fellow American. Free speech needs to be respected. Political differences are debated in America. We do not know the motivations of this murder and it does no good to submise intentions until an investigation unveils the truth. I am so sorry to see this young man with the courage of his convictions gunned down so brutally. I disagreed with him often but celebrated the dialog and wish the debate endures. A young American family has my condolences. My wounded nation has my restraint as we wait for answers.

it never ceases to amaze me how people are so outright open about the fact that they run for their lives and have no consideration not even for a moment to try to help somebody in need. Yes you can say people have to look out for the wrong safety they're scared I understand. but people are just so candid about the fact that it's only about them. I just it's actually the part of it where they're so candid about it with no shame at all that gets to me. if he would have said I would have loved to have helped but I was with my son and we were scared I would respect him a little bit more. but all and all the majority of people are just like him. All about themselves and selfish and step over somebody in need

Even though we were right near Charlie we didn't try to run over and help or anything we just ran away so what does that really for us to say on the ride home to each other.
