I never sausage a mess.
Instead of throwing them away give them to animal rescues. Clean them off and cook them. It could feed a lot of animals. Expensive to waste food.

Scooping them up off the ground is the same way they throw them into the machine to have pig intestines wrapped around them. Fun fact: for every hot dog you eat you take 33 minutes off of your life.
