so people were actually using the government as babysitter units just because they couldn't take care of their own kids so they were using government funds to take care of kids this is totally disgusting why have kids if you can't take care of your kids don't have them there's boy's and girls clubs all over America

That's truly FUCKED UP!!!! Them kids trying finish school and get a trade in order to become productive.. But rich people want to push them out with no other option but to commit crime to survive,,, (It's all a setup) I went to job corp and finished school with my trade in carpentry,, And my trade got me into roofing... What I've done for over 25 years,,, This the first time I ever heard anyone refer to job corp as a free ride or babysitting.. Job Corp helps a lot of kids get back on track,,, But people sit back and criticize anything that has HELP connected to it..
The Job Corps has helped so many people over the years. My brother was headed down, but this program helped him to get a trade as an electrician and fast forward all these years. He makes an excellent living today to support his family and pay taxes. It really straightened his life out.
I went to job corps in the early 90's it's basically a free ride they'll give you free room board and everything including a education and skill. the crime was so bad there I left to become a truck driver.
There are people who actually believe that they are going to benefit from what Trump is doing.🤔 They have no clue where the money goes that he is suppose to be saving the tax payer. In the meantime our taxes never get cut, they only continue to rise. What a world we live in.

I am actually a former job course student from Montana, North Dakota. And they helped me out a lot. It took me about 2 years to get my stuff together and they gave me the privilege of getting my license. My CNA license, my contractor's license and also food service license I can keep going on and on. I bought numerous awards. This place is where I met long life friendships. Did I still have to this day? I went there in 2000 so this is a complete shock that this is actually getting shut down. I'm very sorry. My heart goes out to all you guys.

These programs are very important for our children who don’t want to be a Statistic it teaches them skills and training for future jobs my auntie went to job corp when she was young she became welder and later a nurse fully support these programs all of the programs and cut the the man is doing affects poor people hard working people us who don’t have the resources to just step out of poverty we need to work together to help our people no one is going to help us and he going to keep making new laws we have to find the new laws that work for us and work together to help our communities we have to unite that’s the only way

I’m a 1960s kid growing up in the late 70s as a teenager. I had a few friends that went to job Corps that was doing bad in the neighborhood came back with good trades and it’s still doing good today because of job corps 👍🏾
