I do slightly differ from you in that I believe children should be children 💯, but in HS i do feel that it should be at least mentioned and acknowledge.Because that's when children start becoming adults and exploring their sexuality and that is an excellent time to have those discussions in a safe environment, especially when many children don't families that are going to receive this type of discussion well...if at all. Make sense❓️

Teachers DO NOT teach those things, it’s a biased exaggeration that’s brought on by homophobic and trans phobic individuals. What the schools might do is just mention to the kids that if they happen to have thoughts about orientation, it’s perfectly fine to talk to them about it. As a parent, you might be saying that this is horrible in itself, but the thing you may not realize is, we have horrible parents that are extremely homophobic and trans phobic, and even on a rare occasion, they would kill their own kids or put them out on the streets so that they’re suicidal and die rather than try to love and accept their kids for the way that they are, which is the very same reason why the schools want to let the kids know that it’s a safe place. But congratulations parents because you’ve managed to take that safe place away from your kids.

My grandson wanted to be a Dinosaur when he grew up when he was in kindergarten, he is now in High School and guess what, he no longer wants to be a dinosaur when he grows up. kids have an imagination specially when they are very young. so parents don't change their sex, let them decide when they reach adulthood.
