The cops wouldn't believe him. They were just as guilty as bad guys.
In 2003, pizza deliveryman Brian Wells was lured to a remote spot in Erie, Pennsylvania, where conspirators strapped a live collar bomb to his neck and sent him to rob a bank under the guise of a scavenger hunt to save his life; after stealing $8,700, he was captured by police, but the bomb detonated and killed him on live TV. Investigators later found he had limited involvement in the plan but was ultimately betrayed. The scheme was masterminded by Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong and accomplices Kenneth Barnes and William Rothstein, whose motives centered on money and personal debts. Diehl-Armstrong was sentenced to life, Barnes to 45 years, and Rothstein died before trial. The bizarre case—part bank heist, part murder—remains infamous as the “pizza bomber” story.
that was sad...
I seen that. his head went straight up
This was SO SAD. They did nothing and watched him die.🥺
somebody called a bomb squad
I listened to this on a pod cast
I remember this that poor man they didn’t help him and it went off and killed him. Oh my gosh.
I remember this, poor guy.

He was in on it, but play dumb games win dumb prizes cause he got double crossed
Evil Genius

My hometown Erie pa 🤘 814
He was a wacko that was in on it and it backfired. And he has child molester written all over him
God so sad 😭
movie name please
Of course, no one wanted to be blown up as well. I don't remember if they called the bomb squad in or not. So sad.
I always wondered at what point did he realize the bomb wasn't fake
so crazy to just even see the pizza bomber situation almost kind of like a I don't know enough that I received it or
I remember this the innocent man died there was no helping him.
He was in on it but they crossed him. They sent him on a treasure hunt for hints to get out but it would’ve went off way before he could’ve finished
💔💔💔
like the movie 30 minutes or less lol
This was horrible
Netflix show
This was the basis for the movie thirty minutes or less.
because cops are cowards and help no one
This was the strangest thing I have ever seen. Did they ever figure out what actually happened.
I remember the episode it was a tragedy, innocent man
I remember this...Poor guy!
ppl making comments bashing the cops as if they would have done something and been the hero. it was an explosive device they couldnt do anything about it.
The documentary is on Netflix
Netflix evil genius
this happened in my city many years ago!!!
this one actually happened unfortunately 🥺
Terrifying
Poor guy
And how did that work out for you?
I remember this it was sad 😭
It was in no way a remote location, it was 5 minutes off of 1-90 and it was in a plaza with restaurants and stores and a DMV. it was next to a golden corral and across the lot from Chucky cheese filled with children. it was just up the road from the Millcreek mall. I don't know why the shows always refer to it as remote.
That ain't worth losing your head over
I was working right up the street that day, wouldn't let us leave to go home. wild people, wild story.
This is exactly why I trust no one. They could’ve helped the man but let him die with no dignity. Protect and serve my ass this is sad
Holy crap I remember this, poor guy.
I remember this.. 😲
What could the police do? Blow up with him? I doubt they had time to get a bomb squad out there once the timer was ticking. He should have been yelling the names of his co-conspirators.
Cia did it
