I had been told of a special needs daycare referred by SRS, now called DCF. I went to pick my son up on day 3 and the look in his eyes ( he couldn’t speak) told me something horrible happened. I quit my job, went on welfare and took care of him myself until he was old enough for rainbows. Even then I was super vigilant and through his school years too. Would only take jobs that allowed me to work around his hours or bring him with me. I feel this momma’s pain.

A few years ago that One guy got prison time because it was thought that he left his baby in the car intentionally??? Can't remember how much time he got. zI think at that time it's seemed abnormal because we just didn't hear about that happening very much and people didn't understand how that could accidentally happen so it seemed purposeful. There has been a lot more of this happening and it happens to good parents and good people as well .

Why would the babysitter feel compelled to harm a child ? Had the babysitter taken care of this child before ? Did the babysitter offer an excuse ? She should have called the Mom or knocked on a neighbor's door and asked for help if she felt overwhelmed.
