yeah idk about this one. there is a phenomenon called rain shafts however but generally those are far wider in diameter than this. iv witnessed rain shafts 3 times in my life. all 3 of them were at minimum 50 yards in diameter. watched one move across a big ass parking lot, the second one was only drenching one side of the highway and the last one I was about to go on a ride around town and got chased down the street back home by it. pretty cool stuff. but this is not any where near the same. this looks like the top of a hydrant was sheared off
