Yeah sorry but Id have to question this video. First residential distribution supply lines cannot provide enough current to damage concrete on this scale usually. Second while it can do some damage they are protected lines and the line would have disconnected from the grid. That being a dead short it very likely would have triggered said protective devices whether it be a fuse or relay meaning you have a severe issue with the distribution company’s protective equipment. Lastly, if that had been molten rock it would have also been melting that ladder since the melting point for aluminum is much lower than that of concrete. Just something seems a bit off about it.👍🏼
lineman here. that's primary voltage making contact through the ladder to the ground. at least 7k volts
When I was a Cop in Baltimore City I got a call for an electrocution. One of the worst calls ive responded to in 25yrs. When I got there 2 guys both DOA, smoking and there Hands and feet blown off. Apparently they were painters and were painting an Apartment building. They put an Aluminum ladder against the building hitting a power line. One of the Guys was on the ladder got hit immediately but was stuck to the ladder. His buddy on the ground Not Thinking grab his friend and also electrocuted. Hopefully they both died immediately. It sounds sick but 30yrs later whenever I smell a Grill with food cooking I flash back to that day. Doctor's say I have PTSD from all the Death I saw on the job🙏
why isn't anyone attempting to move it? that town cant be filled with nothing but people with commonsense or this never would of happened
SAVE THE CHILDREN
lava
Fun Fact:
Aluminum ladder resting on wires up top that are alive. Whole ladder is hot going to ground at bottom of ladder don’t go near ladder that voltage can jump over a foot with a bang
a boss uh the ladder well it broke
Omg😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
Concrete starts exploding at 2500°F and there’s nothing on this earth that can’t burn including rocks. In fact, they use rocks as part of the fuel for many of these plants that actually burn coal, real rocks are part of the fuel
Wire fence did this, it was awesome 5thuntil the trash cans melted and wood fence caught fire
wouldn't it melt the aluminum ladder tho 😂
neither one is melting it's called editing
Hmm I don’t think it’s a fake video but….
osha approved.. never mind the lava...
it is Ai
I've watched a dump truck raise it's bed and hit wires the grass around the vehicle spanning out 10 ft it took an hr and 15 mins for the truck to burn enough for the box to drop and cut connections
is that lava with a grid sized power source? I expect a super hero from the experiment
Aluminum ladders should be outlawed. They're dangerous as hell.
The ladder is getting shorter
Touch not the high wires with your ladder, lest ye become a charbroiled idiot, cooking in lava. 😆
Yosemite?
Next time leave it to the professionals…. 🤣
im just curious ,why this type of disturbance in the power line wouldn't short it out and the transformer blow.
that's how these new kids be scrapping metal in the hood now🙏
Transformers have PCP type chemicals and will melt metal.
Sidewalk volcano
wow if you are ever in doubt how stupid , ignorant, sheltered society truly is post something like this. people who can barely boil water or plug in an electric cord instantly become electricians, geologist and astro physics professors all from the comfort of their moms basement or their recliner.🤔
Is this the inner city way of smelting aluminum?!🤷🏼♂️🤣? Someone needs to use a pvc pipe or fiberglass ladder and push it off the power line!
Put down that dang camera and use the fire extinguisher!! This video isn't worth the price of a house fire. 🫣🙄🥴
where im from it's either 7200 or 14400 volts and yes it can melt an aluminum ladder
Why didn't they grab that fire:1 extingwisher right in front of us??? 💕
Makes no sense. I’m calling AI
republicans
hell na 😆
you can see a hand to the left of ladder , thumb is up ironically
Hey, Joey, bring me that 28-foot ladder! All we got is a 21 foot one, boss!
Jacob’s ladder - send you straight to heaven.
An underground volcano
A portal to hell…by ladder.
That ladder goes straight to Hell!!
please explain how this is happening
Ok ok I am going out on a limb to say, the puddle at the bottom of the ladder is the person that held on to the ladder when it touched the power lines!
For those saying the ladder is melting. Wouldn’t it be getting shorter and yet it doesn’t move.
it's prob somewhere where they have volcanic activity and that's is where it came up and that's why the bush is smoking. it's being released from under ground. like in Hawaii lava would just start coming up on the roads and yards
That’s not always true bud. Sometimes it’ll take it as load depending upon the things underneath it.
