Thank you thank you and thank you many times over. I do extensive research on medical terms, diagnosis and test that I am not familiar with along with the doctor and his staff. I have a full list of questions. when I see my doctor and I want all of them answer. we do need to speak up about our health or severe issues will go unnoticed
Absolutely. Black clinicians, we MUST speak up. I almost lost my daughter at the hospital where I was the Chief Nursing Officer. I had to escalate in a manner that should not have been required in order to get them to pay attention. Thank God my daughter and grandson are both alive and well. I have spoken up for others in the same way as I spoke up for my daughter. We all must do this!!!
