Look tattoos hurt in some areas, where he was getting it not really. He chose the meatless part of his forearm. Tell him to get a side piece, or the hand, or the chest, or the feet, or the shin, or the elbow. He trying to act hard right now, just wait.
I was 11 right or wrong, I was raised different. I moved out at 11 but my dad did give permission and I got a grim reaper that was my entire forearm and I chewed the ring off my shirt lol.. by 18 I just said body parts instead of tattoos. I can't count them anymore, but I can tell you about how many hrs I have

wait until u get one on a soft spot. ur chest, wrist, inside ur elbow joint, etc. I got one on my forearm and when it got to my wrist and inside of my elbow joint is where it actually hurt, other then that didnt feel it
