I saw Ring footage of a guy who bought a new TV and put the old one in the new box, sealed it up just like new and put it on his porch. all this does is watch the crime. have it delivered to your work or be on a porch waiting for it.
if you are not home have the package delivered and put in a dedicated lock box or otherwise out of sight of people on the street. a trusted neighbor would also be a possible solution to this.
