"Cobweb" is a 2023 horror film centered around an eight-year-old boy named Peter (Woody Norman) who hears mysterious tapping noises coming from within the walls of his house. His parents, Mark (Antony Starr) and Carol (Lizzy Caplan), dismiss the sounds as just his imagination, but as the tapping persists, Peter becomes increasingly fearful and begins to suspect a sinister secret his parents are hiding. The tapping leads Peter to discover a hidden door behind a grandfather clock, revealing his older sister, Sarah, who had been locked away in the attic by their parents. Sarah, a grotesque and disfigured being, claims their parents are evil and plan to kill her and then imprison him. She manipulates Peter into poisoning his parents. After successfully killing them, Peter frees Sarah, only to discover she was using him to get revenge.
