Addiction is not a “disease”, it’s a decision, a choice, and you don’t recover until you start taking accountability for your choices and start making different choices.
I can’t watch any video with that song playing in the background
What a wonderful message & video. And it’s so true! I’ve been clean from my DOC since 6/8/2020, and clean from all since 12/23/23. It’s been a struggle at times but I’m so grateful to be alive & have worked so hard to get to where I’m at today. I live God’s will nowadays. I pray for God to be with all that are trying to change their life around. It’s really hard to pick yourself up when you get that low but it’s possible. With God, anything is possible.
great 👍 message. I once heard , "a grateful addict will never use again"
it is possible if I can do it so can you. 06/27/2018 by the grace of God. #recoveryworks #onedayatatime
