Awwwww, babies like Daddy pick me up or give me a belly rub I know because mine does it all the time but I finally got tired of it put them on the counter he's 2 lb.. it's easier that way the scratches belly in do what I'm going to do but he is not near the food people I don't ever want him to get near the food because I don't want him to get sick... and since I do do professional catering I've got all kinds of different spices this and that but he's got a little spot at the end of my kitchen counter I have a long kitchen counter and he loves to watch will not move from there and they usually goes to sleep..

KISS that belly. Pup will always be your baby buy these moments are still rare. You are being invited to love. Accept and appreciate (not that you don’t) but my dogs are very aged and over the course of my longish life, I’ve lost a handful. Each loss is agonizing as each life has been beyond wonderful—for me mostly. I see some people here/You Tube who deliver amazing attention to their animal companions so I don’t begin to elevate myself. I’m just gazing as his raspberry cream belly, the innocence he has, his utter trust in you and feeling so sad and worried mine are heading out I am temporarily paralyzed by anticipatory grief and it’s prompting me to urge you to shower him with your love and soak up all his love, too. Anticipatory grief is stupidness, wasteful, self-indulgent. I know and am not angry at myself…but as you might imagine, it’s a few bad pixels in an overall very bad picture. This is when one is reminded to count blessings..so thank you for posting.I’ll do just that.🥰
