you docked me 2 minutes for one minute which is illegal. then I will dock you 5 minutes for 2 minutes. meaning I will stop work 5 minutes before it's time to stop work and stand there and get paid to stand there

I feel of your late, after so many times write them up, after so many write ups you lose your job, coz you should be on time but not lose time & $$$ , just write up then lose job. shouldn't be a habit. might be taking someone's place that's going home after their shift.
An elder years ago once told me to be at work at least 30 mins early and once 8:00 hits to be working, not getting situated at 8:00 (8am to 5pm)

Honestly I agree with it, like I’ve never had a job that doesn’t penalize you for staying on lunch break for too long, like if they didn’t penalize everyone would be late, they lucky they don’t get fired, the jobs I had before I’d be fired for being late, hell my job now, I HAVE to be clocked in a minute before my scheduled time, not right on time, a minute early or I lose incentive
You can dock for the actual time but you cannot dock them for any more like a punishment.....
