Ignorance of the law is no excuse ! Someone should have told her to dress decently for court, a dress or a skirt , or even a capri . Everyone knows you cannot use a phone in the courtroom,for security reasons.

I had to go to court one time not for me but for someone else for support. I did not know there was a dress code but thank God I always dress properly so that wasn't an issue. I didn't know that you can't take a picture in court I do know that some courthouses like the one that I went to you had to leave your phone out of the courtroom so I figured if you leave it out then you won't take pictures but if they let you bring that would be OK unless there's someone writing I don't know I didn't look for that. The one thing I don't understand about this judge and I may be wrong I understand her wanting to delete the picture I understand or putting it in the purse but to put her in handcuffs this woman did not rob anybody she didn't steal she told the court and it might have been alive that she didn't really know but to put her in handcuffs I'm not a judge but I think that overdoes but at least she didn't put her in jail but that's just my opinion I think the judge was too rough on that

I've been to court several times there's not a dress code. I've seen people with tank tops shorts way worse than what she had on. the judge took that way too far. and from the times I've been to court they collect your phones before you walk in if they don't allow phones. so yes the judge was wrong in my opinion and then putting her in cuffs come on.

As a court assigned probation agent I agree with everything the Judge did. You should never were shorts to court and can't take pictures. That phone could have been used to detonate a bomb or to record information of a witness. The judge did what she was suppose to.

So much wrong here. Dress code to disregarding the rights of citizens for unlawful search and seizure. There needs to be a lawsuit against the judge for these violations. Ask the person not to take photos, or delete. Putting handcuffs on a person for simply wearing shorts an taking a picture is insane. Obtain legal assistance and sue the judge.
