as a handicapped male, I completely agree with the cop. They should be patrolling around parking lots to catch them as well. way too many times, I have parked somewhere, and next to me comes a car parking in the handicapped spots with no placard or license plate identification. there should be a huge fine for that so that it doesn't happen again.

I got a neighbor that can jump a 4-ft chain fence with no problems and he's on social security disability he says that he gets muscle cramps in his back so they made him disabled a lot of stuff don't make sense to me. I know him quite well and I don't see nothing wrong with him. just wants a free check $$$
For those that don't know, being disabled and handicap is two different things. Those tags are for both, & also the tag says DON'T DRIVE WITH IT IN THE WINDOW, BUT everyone ignores that. Plus legally you can't ask if they are handicap ect.., because that would be profiling

I have seen many young healthy people parked in the handicap parking places. No placard, no handicap license plate. I have witnessed it myself, I did report it, nothing was done about it. I am handicapped with a legal placard. Because of those selfish lazy people who park in the handicap parking I didn't have a place to park near where I needed to go.
