my landlord downstairs is the same way. me and my 9 year old son live upstairs in an apartment. he's amazing to us. always asking if we need anything. he's 80 something and has heart issues. we look out for each other. my son loves him dearly. everybody needs someone like that in their lives!

that's great! it's what neighbors should do! keep an eye out for each other! before long, it's really going to ve necessary for ALL of us to keep an eye out for all of those around us! we are going to have to band together if we want to make it through this. now his neighbors need to go & let him know that he is appreciated! take a little baked goods to them as a thank you.
we did this with my neighbor across the street. After his wife passed he never comes outside and has food delivered so my mom calls to check on him. His son lives out of state so he's by himself. We live on a pretty quiet street but we watch out for others

I'm losing my neighbor. they are older and have been like my parents for 5 years. I'm heartbroken they are moving so far away. I'm so heartbroken, they are top but the crime has gone up in Vermont so much so they are afraid and are packing . be good to those close to you. some people make such an impact in your lives. stay safe everyone 💕

I live in an apartment building, if I don’t see my neighbors for two days I check on him, two times different neighbors, I had to have the landlord come and open the door to do a welfare check. Both times I needed to call the ambulance.,(different times) they were both laying on the floor from the the day before and could not get up. The one came back home. And the other one is in a nursing home. both are elderly.. If you have elderly neighbors, I wish more people would help like this, if you’re just keeping an eye on them, you are not being nosy, you’re being concerned.
What a nice guy
I’m lucky because one of my neighbors is very much like this gentleman. I too check on him. He just celebrated his 100 year birthday. I alway make/send special birthday cards and he always calls to gratitude. We all need these special people in our lives. They are gifts to ourselves.
We need more people like him.
