it turns out that the item was scanned & she didn't try to steal it & it came up $1. Before people commented they should look up how stores would randomly discount items to $1, especially HOME DEPOT!!! A MIND is a terrible thing to waste!!!

I remember a cashier at Walmart try to stop a man he had a tv in his basket he kept going she went after him she was holding on to the tail of truck he dragged her and left her on parking lot and she was hurt they told her that you are not supposed Togo after them just take The license number down and call police and they refused to pay her I felt that was wrong that’s how much they care

I didn’t see her do anything in that video to cause that police officer to arrest her she was complying as she walked towards the office and when she walked in the office, she said she hated the place I didn’t see her attack anybody or anything I’m pro law-enforcement, but that cop was being a dick now if after they reviewed the tape, they saw that she didn’t scan it and they wanted to arrest her then rightly so she should’ve got handcuffed and arrested
They need to get a good lawyer I would sue them

Every e seems to assume the worst. I’ve seen people prices mark low & high no switched tags either. If it scanned a $1 that’s what you’re selling it to me for or we gon have a problem! Yall do know that the stores make mistakes as well. Also, he said she attacked which she did not so there was no need to place her under arrest.
The Walmart people are acting terrible. That's why I never go to self check out. They were all still in the store and not giving the customer a chance. Shouldn't be charged with shoplifting inside the store anyone can make a mistake. Once outside and no receipt, that's shoplifting.
Saw a documentary about Walmart nakinb money off people getting .arrested and on top of that police officers seem to behave as walmart security guards very sketchy.
Let me tell y’all something about these store scanners, in regular check out lanes and self checkouts! I was buying groceries, groceries being scanned by a Walmart cashier, and once the cashier went to scan my 4pk of Seagrams coolers it registered for $16.98 a 4pk cooler, I told them the price in front of it said $3.48 and they told me since it wrong up for $16.98 that’s what I pay, I told the cashier take it off, talking about they can’t change alcohol prices, the company does that, I said but your company input the products price in your company system! So maybe that darn microwave did register at $1 due to computer glitch, it happens, I work on process change team for Target years ago, when they first came to California, and I was assistant price change manger and we input the mark downs into the store system, humans make mistakes!!!!

I got vitamins for $19.99 and the 2nd bottle for $1. Saved me $18.99 plus tax. I thought it was a good deal. Picked up a jacket for $27.88, got to the register it was only $13, wish that I had gotten two in different colors. Things happen. Went to a meat store to purchase wings, got to the register, an alarm went off. Cashier went to the Meat counter, they repriced it at a higher price and I left it with them. I didn't price it wrong and it was not enough for that price. There's also a store that disabled my buggy exiting the store and I had just been helped to check out by a cashier. I guess they consider everyone to be a shoplifter.
What's sad her daughter was there and they scan it the darn microwave. Would they had acted that way with white folks. That old white lady started that. They did not need hand cuffs. Under arrest and they hadn't check the situation yet. They did not care her daughter was standing there.
Walmart should hire enough cashiers so that customers don't have to do their job and to decrease the risk of theft and scanning mishaps.
