this has to be fake. no police officer would tell someone they have to let someone in their house that has a warrant for their arrest or that they are allowed to kick someone's door in if they can't get in lol and they would have hauled the son off in a heartbeat after hearing he has a warrant.

You hear it over and over again, from law enforcement. It’s illegal to harbor a fugitive. Can’t have it both ways. He’s making huge assumptions on what other law enforcement will do and who the DA decides to charge. This is why law enforcement is in such disrepair. This offer is admitting to speaking to the fugitive and not making attempts to arrest. So he goes and fabricates his own laws? This at minimum is disturbing the peace under the color of authority. Based on his failure to follow a judges court order. He’s overturning a judges ruling as if that’s an option? Not an option. Why no 4 year degree in law enforcement? Only 6 of running, burpees, pushups etc……

the crazy part is.....the police is right in this case.....you would have to go to your local court house get an eviction notice served to him and that would be the legal way to do it....and he must be gone for more than 30 days.....I'm not a lawyer but have been in similar situations....

it's hard cuz abusive people will kick someone out for no reason, so these laws protect people from things like that, but also make it hard to put put someone who is trouble and needing consequences. you have to follow an eviction process. I seen it happen with my brother. he just refused to leave. didn't pay rent, or contribute to the home, but refused to leave and even the cops couldn't make him leave.
