As the proud owner of a CCW in California, the minute that police officer walks to that vehicle and asked me for my license. I am supposed to say I have a firearm in the car and I in possession of the CCW before he even asked me anything that is by law in California, I would imagine it’s probably the same in other states as well so I don’t know what this chick is trying to gain out of this and yes, she is confrontational. She looked a little fucking bipolar to me right there as well but some things aren’t always as they seem.
As a law abiding citizen that claims the Second Amendment!!! You must surrender your weapon for verification of ownership!! After ownership is established!!! It is the duty of the officer!! To return the property!!

I'm a CC owner in NY, I would never react like this as a woman and as a CC owner. She's coming off HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE and if I was even a bystander watching this I'd be afraid for the cop.
people like her piss me off acting like that towards an officer is getting out of hand with everyone acting stupid towards them when there no reason to be that way sometimes I understand when it's not a good cop or whatever but when they are just doing their job and have to put up with ignorance I feel bad for what they deal with.

First off that officer would have known I have a concealed weapon and 2 he is within his rights to remove it and put it in a safe location for him and myself! I got pulled over in Indiana by a state trooper because I was speeding (absent minded speeding, I just cleaned out my deceased uncles apartment and picked up his ashes) I let the trooper know I had a concealed weapon and gave him the paperwork for transportation of human remains across state lines and my license, insurance and registration. He let me go and asked if I could put my vehicle in cruise control and offered his condolences. I was respectful and owned up to my mistake and I got off with a warning. Complying, allowing and being nice no matter what pays off!

been a ccw holder for over 25 years....the only thing ypu need to do if the gun is spotted is comply until verification of ypur ccw...remain calm, cool and collected as is mandatory behavior that comes with the responsibility of having a ccw

As a gun owner when ever I’ve gotten pull over I roll down all my windows and put my hands out the window. Here in Texas if usually means the person getting stopped has has a gun. I do that so I won’t escalate things and make the officers feels at ease.

I know I got pulled over for speeding which I was definitely guilty of and I was visiting a state that did legally allow tasers. I told the cop it was there and he appreciated my honesty I got out of the car while he looked he not only complemented me on the power of my taser he looked it over while I waited by the side w/o handcuffs. He let me go on both because I was so willing to comply and honest. I do everything I can to make the stop more comfortable for them. Honestly I couldn’t and neither could most commenters walk up on a dead stop not knowing who or what they’re dealing with! Much less a domestic violence call. The cops are the ones in the most danger not knowing who they are stopping and what they’re capable of! But when you need help who does everyone need help from?!
1. I turn on all the over head lights2. roll all the windows down3. turn off the car and put the keys on the dash.4. NEVER say gun. SAY I have my side arm on me and that I'm a legal Carrier. 5 I leave my hands on the wheel. 6. I always tell the officer where my id is and ask if I my get it. I never reach for anything without communicating my moves first. everyone that rides in my car knows the drill. And the officer feels safe and so dose everyone in my car.
Surely her permit was canceled. The first thing you do if you get pulled over is place your hands on the wheel and calmly inform the officer that you have a weapon. Let him take it from there.
we also have to survive contact with you.. that being said cooperate with lawful commands instead of arguing cuz u will not win that battle.

I’ve had cops run my serial plenty of times, it always ends back up in my glove compartment without me being shot. Pretty simple.
two stops by cops two separate towns in Texas were illegal to pack the gun without a CHP told them both times were the guns at not ones that they asked me to remove the weapon of course I'm smart enough to put my hands on the wheel at 10:00 to so they can see my hands which is what you're supposed to do yes you want to ease the cops mind and I was not confrontational like all these scammers on sites like this looking for a lawsuit
