My doctor's office doesn't allow that probably for this reason. I think they will till you're 21 but after that no more, I was losing my voice and you could hardly understand me so my mom called for me and they said nope she's an adult and you can't do that anymore so I had to get on the phone. It was a mess but we got it done.
