Mental Illness is real & is severely overlooked & ignored. People need help & sadly the only thing that stands in the way of that help is money. Those who suffer from mental health issues should automatically receive assistance regardless of financial status. If immigrants can come here & reap all the benefits, including free medical aid, Then our shouldn't even be a question. Same goes for vets. The suicide rate is astonishing. They serve our country, then get booted & forgotten about like garbage. Left to fend for themselves, homeless, hungry & begging for money all while severely suffering from PTSD. This all leads to seeking relief & numbing their feelings & pain with addiction. This carousel spins round & round while these people are left & forgotten about. It makes me so sad. This man, I pray finds help & he is okay. He is someone's son 💔 There are no excuse as to why this is like this.
