if you can find the rest of the video. she hit him first. she was being super rude and disrespectful. she was blatantly on her phone after he asked her to put it away, he came to get the phone and she got up screamed in his face and slapped the hell out of him, then acted like this for quite a while before this happened. do I think he should have smacked her? Not, but I do think she definitely had it coming. it's called natural consequences if your gonna be an asshole and then hit someone, you're gonna get hit back.
She did slap him and that is why he slapped her. People have created a society where kids often show little common respect.

Bogus. What school? Where in Florida? Google search of “black male Florida teacher slaps white female student” came up with ZERO results going back several years. The search even came up with ZERO results when searched without using “Florida.” This fictional video has been reposted all over the world for the past two years on Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, etc. I am a retired teacher living in Florida and if this “incident” were real, we’d have definitely heard about it. It would have been all over the news. Please stop reposting this junk. It’s an insult to teachers. Although sadly there have been a few incidents in which a teacher has had a physical altercation with a student, most cases involve a student assaulting a teacher.

You can’t hit a student no matter what unless you are in danger. He kept on with student. It escalated quickly, if she hit him, administration should been called with resource officer. He is so wrong in doing that. Every time I hear his slap (he is a man, that hit was hard). I cringe. It makes me mad as I work in a school and there was a different way to handle that. They are kids. This student has such anger, there is a reason, who knows why she is like that. I get reprimanded and maybe he should work in primary school instead of secondary or don’t work in school. Both need anger management Sorry this is so long. I’m passionate about teaching secondary students or any but teaching has changed and we need patience and strength because this generation needs people who can win their trust and see there are people out there that want to help them have visions for the future

After the teacher being hit and girl thinking there will be no consequences for her actions, who in their right mind would want to be grossly underpaid and under appreciated to be around spoiled, lazy brats with no motivation and a lack of respect for any authority? He will always have a job teaching our youth in the criminal justice system where teachers get respect or there WILL be consequences. Well. I retired as an investigator for DOEd, Florida. He is in trouble, regardless of her actions. He is the adult here. I wouldn't be a high school or middle school teacher for millions of dollars. Kids have no respect. I was scared of getting in trouble at school. I knew my parents would kill me when I got home. That young lady needs in school suspension and should have to leave her phone in the office everyday.
