I'm scared to get on a plane again, ever since all these planes have trouble with mechanical issues, fires if it's not the wings, it's the pilot and with lack of Air Traffic Controllers. God help us.

I think people are missing the issue here, being so focused on landing gear being down. the plane took off but his climb rate wasn't very much and he appeared to hit a pocket of unstable air at the end of the runway causing the wings to dip before he recovered. its possible he was taking off in high winds with an overweight plane. his climb rate should have been much higher.

I will not get on a plane, I will not get on a boat or a ship, I will not get on a train, I will stay as close to the ground and as slow as I can go, unless it says 55 mph, I have seen how fast trains go, I have seen how planes crash and I have seen how ships sink at least I know if I do crash I'm not going to fall at the least 75 thousand feet to earth, or sink 1000's of feet down in the ocean, nope I'll play it safe, if I get into a car crash at least I still played it safe.

That right there is why I hate to fly. I'll take driving for a week to get somewhere over flying. It makes me want to vomit when I hear people saying statistically more accidents happen on the ground driving then in an airplane flying and before you do quote that one let me just say OFCOURSE the numbers are lower for flying accidents, but the only reason they are is because there are 10 times fewer plains in the Air than cars on the ground & When you do not have equal death traps (cars) to flying nightmares (plains) you are going to have higher number of accidents within the category you have more vehicles in.

I’m not a fan of flying but it sure beats being stuck in a car for half your vacation. I don’t care what the damn plane did, as long as it doesn’t crash, I’m happy. Plus I always thank Everyone in the cockpit and the flight attendants before leaving the plane. Their talent, experience and expertise are well appreciated. ❤️❤️❤️

There is nothing going on here.
Flown out of this airport more than a few times, from the front tip of the plane, and there’s nothing happening.
One reason the crew, pilot flying, kept the angle low was for a view of the beach and water then pitched up.
Or if they had a slight tailwind, nothing more than 10 knots, they wanted to gain airspeed over altitude prior to departure end of rwy.
But nothing abnormal here.

Looks pretty typical for taking off over water. That is why the pilots deserve the big bucks. I never argue if they say they are not taking off until something fixed. I say you make sure the plane is good condition before taking off. But I encountered serious turbulence trying to land in Dallas and Chicago due to wind sheer. San Diego has a steep approach path with strong tailwinds. My most thrilling flight was into Cusco Peru. You fly over the city from the North or South depending on the prevailing wind. The air is thin at 11,000feet + and bad weather will often cancel your flight. The views of the Andes Mountains towering over the city is breathtaking. The pilot will fly to the of the valley and make a 180 degree turn before making his final descent to the runway. Fortunately the runway is very long which gives you time adjust to the abrupt change in direction and altitude. You will notice the difference right away!
